About Jeremy

Jeremy Meador’s roots run deep, back to east Texas ranch country, where he was raised. Growing up, being horseback was his favorite place, and so began a lifelong journey with horses. His lifelong interest in horses is a natural extension of his background, honed by his passion for a quality, well trained horse.

Relocating to Idaho after high school, Jeremy spent time gaining real work experience riding colts and working on feedlots as well as numerous cattle ranches. It is here he realized he wanted to be a horseman, and not just a cowboy. He earned a degree in Equine Business Management, then spent time in Colorado, Oregon and Idaho as an apprentice, working under cutting, reining and reined cow horse professionals.

Jeremy Meador Performance Horses opened its doors in 2001 in Boise, Idaho. Facilities are currently located at the beautiful Redtail Ranch in Star, ID on the outskirts of Boise. Jeremy and his wife, Carolyn, an avid non pro competitor, take pride in providing the best care and experience for your horse.

Jeremy’s lifetime show earnings exceed $100,000 in NRCHA monies. His resume includes World titles, National Titles and numerous championships, top placings, finals berths and year-end awards in the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), Idaho Reined Cow Horse Association (IdRCHA), Intermountain Reined Cow Horse Association and more.
